The struggle to find the perfect dry shampoo has been a mission of mine for a long time. I am always trying out new dry shampoos to see if the new one I pick up will outlast the last one I tried. Over the past couple of months I have been putting drugstore dry-shampoos to the test and here are my final results!
Are you concerned about using products with sulfates in your hair? Even though brands don’t promote it, most dry shampoos are sulfate free. In shampoos, sulfates are used as a foaming agent to help loosen grease from your hair by using water and dry shampoo absorbs oil without the use of water.
If you have any other dry shampoos you’d like me to try, please let me know in the comments below.
#1/2 – Hask Dry Shampoo (Tied)
Rating: 5/5
I picked up Hask’s dry shampoo to test as a new product for this series and quickly fell in love with this dry shampoo. I loved the packaging, scent and how it performed on my hair.
I also liked that this product took the guessing out of what is in it. This product promotes that it is free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten and artificial colors. Want to read my full review – check out my blog post here.

They were long lasting and left very little residue in my hair. To read my full review and see photos, you can read my review here.

Not Your Mother’s dry shampoo has also been a go-to product of mine for the past couple of years. I love their branding, packaging, and products, but when I compared this to Hask and Batiste’s dry shampoo this product fell short. I will still use it, but I have two new favorite go-to products.
