Fall is finally here! With every new season comes new fashion trends and this season is no exception. Fall fashion this year is filled with fun prints, bright colors and cozy sweaters. Below are the top trends that I am loving right now and links to affordable options online.
Animal Prints
Animal prints have been a popular pattern choice for the past few years, Arty animal prints, a new design style for this year, creates abstract patterns for the animal prints we already know and love. Don’t worry if you’re not ready to wear the new arty animal prints. There are so many ways to ease into this trend. For example, you can try to add a cheetah scarf, a leopard skirt, or bag to your wardrobe. (I know I want to sew a dress and have looked at animal print fabrics. Let me know if you have any recommendations on patterns or prints!)
Scarf Accents
If you’ve been following me for a while, you will already know that I LOVE scarves. This trend is simple, yet versatile. You can quickly add it to a ponytail, add it to your bag or tie it around your neck. I love adding scarves to my hairstyles. Read my latest blog post for inspiration.
Fall Florals
A floral print is a fun and flirty option to wear all year round. Florals for fall make me think of warmer months, but the bold deep colors are a perfect addition to your fall wardrobe.
Gold Accents and Statement Earrings
Adding jewelry to your outfit can quickly transform a look. Simple gold necklaces you wear together, and layer are a great accessory for an everyday look to a date night. Statement earrings are perfect to add dimension to a solid colored look and also look great when your hair is in a ponytail or an updo.
All About Plaid
Plaid this season has been given a modern upgrade. Plaid prints will come in a variety of sizes and color combinations to make the pattern feel fresh.
Colorful Tights
I love colorful tights and am excited they are back in style! Adding bold hosiery is a fun and easy way to add a pop of color to your look! The deep fall toned tights are perfect for fall and winter, but don’t be afraid to wear bright blue or yellow!
